The $500 million North East Business Park comprises an industrial business park and marine industry precinct.
The development will include a marina, golf course, housing lots, multi-level residential, golf course residential and commercial infrastructure.
In addition, about half the site will be regenerated as open space to provide community access to the Caboolture River and adjacent wetlands.
The 760 hectare project is expected to take 10 years to complete.
