A complete restoration of this heritage-listed, two storey building was undertaken to restore the building to its former glory. 

FEATURES:

  • demolition of attached brick additions
  • construction of block structure with new scissor lift
  • complete restoration of existing Heritage listed two storey building
  • new 10m high bored piers, structural steel and glass curtain wall atrium, with sandstone floor, cherry ply wall covering and mezzanine floor toilets with iron and glass handrailing
  • full air conditioning installed to first floor and partial to ground floor
  • complete electrical and hydraulic renewal and fit out and structure and installation of two new lifts 
  • refurbishment of external elevations roof and clock tower, including tuck pointing to brickwork.

BENEFITS:

The successful outcome for this important project was due to extensive experience in historical restoration.
