This project involved the construction of the 7-storey Student Learning Support Centre which houses 3 levels of student facilities comprising a 500-seat lecture theatre, amphitheatre, and computer, community and study rooms, as well as a 4-level, 500 bay car parking facility.
FEATURES:
- upper 3 levels housing student facilities are divided into 2 wings and joined by a landscaped courtyard on level 5
- lecture theatre recessed into the car park and extending over 2 levels with state-of-the-art acoustics, fabric walls and feature ploy panel ceiling
- striking 4-star external façade of aluminium and metal sheet cladding
- creative external profile featuring curved external walls on the eastern side
- free standing sunshade structures over the open-air amphitheatre, and
- carpark providing an elevated platform on which the upper three levels are built.
