Do you see Laing O’Rourke’s global capacity to be an advantage?

 I’ve been with Laing O’Rourke for almost seven years now. I transferred to Australia because I was looking for a new work environment and challenge. I certainly think it’s a good idea for giving people the opportunity to do so.

 What is challenging about your job?

 It is a very complex project. Very fast-tracked, so that means decisions need to be sound. It’s about setting up a robust framework. That’s what I help the project managers with. We need to have the right system in place for people to make the right decision.

What do you think the future holds?

 The future should be very interesting because I believe in the business model and that should lead to a strong position in the market. I also think what I’m doing, and what we’ve done for the project will be valuable moving forward.
