Basically you work through the four different sectors of contract administration, estimating, project engineering and general administration on the site. There’s a bit of involvement with everything – I’ve assisted the engineers in various aspects. We have a team approach. They’re very encouraging and assist with working through problems. The program is quite structured so we do have goals to work towards as well.

 

 

I have found LOR has a different approach to their projects. They’re about changing the current environment of contracting – basically making it easier for the client, for all parties: less litigious and more about getting the job done and satisfying all parties.

 

 

Yes I do have ambitions to work and travel within the LOR Group. It’s a matter of speaking with Human Resources and them assessing suitability and availability of positions vacant in the destinations you were after.
