Tell us a bit about your background.

 I studied Civil Engineering. The main influence most probably came from my parents. My dad is a civil engineer and my mother works as a drafter. I saw them working in construction for as long as I can remember. It’s probably in my blood.

 What are some highlights of the Ascenders Program?

 The training and development is one. We have residentials where all the graduates have the opportunity to come together twice per year and then undertake training in different areas, such as team work, time management, and negotiation skills. It gives us extra knowledge and support in addition to what we’ve learned at university.

 Do you think Laing O’Rourke is the right organisation for you?

 Yes I believe I made the right choice starting my career with Laing O’Rourke. So far, I’ve received all the support I need as a graduate engineer. Laing O’Rourke has the capability to support me further and will also provide me with any further training I require throughout my career.
