Award wins for two North Queensland projects

Two Laing O'Rourke projects recently won awards at the QMBA Far North Queensland Regional Housing and Construction awards held in August.

The Weipa Integrated Health Services Facility (pictured) won the category for Health and Education Facility over $15 million.

The Cairns Yacht Club won the Innovation in Environmental Management and Retail Facilities up to $4 million categories.

Laing O'Rourke Construction Manager Lachlan Tipler congratulated the teams involved in both projects.

"Congratulations to all staff involved in the projects," he said. "Well done and thank you for your efforts."
