Scott joined Laing O’Rourke at the inception of the Australian business in 2004 and has played a hands-on role in the growth of the business to date.

He has more than 20 years’ experience in the construction and property industry and has worked with several Tier 1 organisations.

Throughout his career, he has developed extensive skills across the full spectrum of construction delivery, project management, development management and project financing, particularly in the delivery of landmark CBD commercial office projects. 

During the past 10 years, he has developed his leadership skills in a General Management role leading businesses.

In 2009 Scott was appointed Investment Director and is responsible for the growing investment activities of the Australian business including property development, PPP investment and business acquisitions.

He is also on the global Investment board for the Laing O’Rourke group, responsible for the management and execution of the group’s investment strategy.
