Mark Wilson joined Laing O'Rourke's Australia Hub in July 2011 as Finance Director.

Mark is an experienced Executive with a strong track record in the development and implementation of business strategy, financial management, and business leadership.

He brings a wealth of experience to his role, including 13 years with the Brookfield Multiplex Group.

Mark was a key member of the Multiplex team when they were one of Australia's largest, privately-owned construction firms and served in a number of senior roles, including Chief Executive (Funds and Infrastructure), Executive General Manager Corporate and Group Company Secretary.

During Mark’s time at Multiplex he played a pivotal role in various major transactions, including its Initial Public Offering, Brookfield's subsequent takeover of Multiplex, and through the group's later purchase of Babcock and Brown Infrastructure.

Prior to joining Multiplex, Mark was a Manager in Corporate Finance at Arthur Andersen, which was later merged with Ernst and Young.

He holds a Commerce/Law degree from the University of NSW and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).

Mark has also been a Fellow of FINSIA since 2003.
